Before: On Monday the garden was lacking character or design and the customers wanted a low maintenance space they could entertain in.
Due to the slope in the garden there was a drainage problem and the lower garden was often boggy. 10 tonnes of soil was removed from the garden and 32 oak sleepers were using to build a retaining wall and create the 2 levels.
During: The drain was raised to allow for easy access in the future. 9 tonnes of crushed rock were used as a base for the new patio and lawn.
Finished: By Friday the garden was complete. Scottish cobbles complete the look and the garden is now ready for pot plants and furniture. The patio is made of storm grey sand stone and this slopes away to a drain at the end of the garden which runs into a large soak away which we created. The drain is hidden by the cobbles. The grass is ‘Plaza’ from grass Grass Direct. It has a lush green colour and it looks very realistic. The new look garden on 2 levels.
